I want to invite you on a journey:
Come with me, by way of my paintings,
and get to know a part of my universe.
It is a sincere invitation,
you will find a message,
an emotion, a way of seeing the world…
I put them here to share them with you.+
I cannot explain how to go there,
because each time I began this journey,
which is for me to paint,
this moment of searching my real identity,
to find myself,
has been a journey without any fixed direction.
Without any limits, without choosing nor throwing away anything…
Without knowing where it will bring me.
The only decision I can take is how to make each journey:
not only with my eyes, but with all of my senses on alert.
My paintings are not only colours,
they are forms, reliefs, textures, sensations,
small mixes of what surround me.
For me, it is not enough just to see; I need to feel.
In them, I do not put just my mind or hands;
I put all that I am, my soul.
My paintings are not a brief moment of inspiration,
neither an aesthetic search,
but an addition of moments,
a reflection of my understanding of the world, the universe,
of how I relate myself to the earth,
and to dream of life.
I do not want to be a simple spectator of the result.
I need to be a part of it.
I am not the one to decide when this journey finishes,
I do not even choose the road.
It is an open journey to another continuity.
The paintings transform themselves freely,
and they leave me in front of the reflection of my life experiences,
of my concerns, and of my dreams…
